Make public non-input/output components in function protected

The following commits existed among the OpenModelica patches to the library (what we used to use to test ThermoSysPro). Since this Github repository now exists, we should test against it but nothing works without e8c8e0b8.

I also added some fixes for convenience (fixing the gitattributes makes it so not every line of code changes whenever a file changes from last being edited in Windows or Linux). And I think the conversion annotation was wrong (I never saw a TSP 4.0).
