Hereby the development to have the mesh stretching as in GOTM, as discussed by email.
It included a short section for the manual as well as a test case.
I did a rebase main. However after doing so, I see c7084ce1 also included here. I did not expect that. Is that supposed to happen? Should I try to delete that commit?

Hello Alexander,
After having rebased with main, you have to push with option --force-with-lease to take the rebase main into account. In that case, you can see your own modifications on top of main (previously, your local main branch has to be updated). You can have a look at the git guide, in particular chapter 4: "TELEMAC-MASCARET Git workflow"
