The unit definition of Cv in ControlValve is m4/(s.N5), so in SI units. However, according to The Book, the Cv is in US units and the conversion is done by the coefficient in the pressure drop formula.

So:

• either the definition should be in US units,
• or the conversion factor should be taken out of the pressure drop formula.
